About Univention Corporate Server

Univention Corporate Server (UCS) is a server operating system that runs Univention Nubus, the company's open-source identity and access management platform. It manages users, groups and access centrally and is intended for classic virtual machines and physical servers, as an alternative to running Nubus on Kubernetes.

Ready-made images are offered for VMware, VirtualBox, ESX and KVM, with documentation in English and German and published release notes. It suits organisations that want directory and identity services on their own hardware.
