About VidCoder
VidCoder converts video files and rips DVDs and Blu-rays on Windows, using HandBrake's engine without needing HandBrake installed. It outputs MP4 or MKV with AV1, H.265, H.264, VP9 and other codecs, supports hardware encoding on AMD, Nvidia and Intel, and can target a bitrate, file size or quality level.
Batch encoding with simultaneous jobs, a folder watcher, pause and resume, and pickers that choose audio and subtitle tracks automatically make it suited to converting many files. It does not defeat disc copy protection on its own.
