About Viking

Viking manages GPS data on the desktop. You can import, plot and create tracks, routes and waypoints over OpenStreetMap, Bing Aerial and other map layers, and geotag photos. It works with GPX, KML and TCX files and can plan routes with OSRM.

On Linux it can also show your real-time GPS position and render maps with Mapnik. Neither feature is available on Windows. Viking is written in C with GTK 3 and is maintained on both SourceForge and GitHub.
