About i-doit
i-doit is a configuration management database for documenting an organisation's IT: devices, software, cabling and how they connect. Add-ons extend it into IT asset management, ITSM, data centre infrastructure management and compliance work such as ISO 27001, NIS-2 and GDPR documentation, emergency planning and business continuity.
The vendor sells commercial editions alongside an open-source edition, and related products cover automatic inventory (JDisc Discovery) and cabling management. The website and much of the material are primarily in German, with an English version available.
