About Machete
Machete is a small Windows utility for trimming and joining video and audio files losslessly. You can delete unwanted fragments such as commercials, copy and move pieces, and save individual parts, all without re-encoding the video or audio streams, so edits are quick and do not reduce quality.
It edits AVI, FLV, WMV, WebM, 3GP, 3G2, MKV, MP4, MOV, WMA, MP3 and WAV files. Joining only works for files with exactly the same format. A full and a Lite edition are offered.
