About Remote Utilities

Remote Utilities provides remote access for individuals and businesses, with 14 connection modes including full control, view only, file transfer, terminal and text chat. The Host component runs as a service, so unattended and headless machines can be reached after a reboot. Active Directory support, four authentication methods and 2FA are included.

Connections can go through the vendor's relay servers or a self-hosted server. Windows is the main platform, with agents for macOS and Linux (including Wayland) and mobile apps. Licences are a one-time payment, and a free tier covers up to 10 PCs.

  • One-time licence rather than a subscription
  • 14 connection modes including terminal and file transfer
