About Chatwoot
Chatwoot collects customer conversations from live chat, email, WhatsApp and social channels into one shared inbox, alongside a knowledge base and newer voice call support. It is positioned as an alternative to Intercom and Zendesk.
An AI agent called Captain can answer common questions using your help center and past chats, and a Copilot suggests replies and translations for human agents. You can self-host the open-source code or use the hosted cloud service, which has a free trial.
